The Art of Old School Jeet Kune Do

Martial Artist Bruce Lee was interested in constant experimentation and an intense study of modern training methods to improve his craft.

Since his passing we can’t really know what Jeet Kune Do would look like, so what we do is look at the core curriculum of JKD and use it as a guide. Remember that any architectural principle is based on a strong foundation. Let the core curriculum be your guide to the building of your foundation and let the house you build on top of it be your own.

We feel that by sticking to Bruce Lee’s principles of combat, while at the same time learning and developing our own JKD, we honor his memory. We teach Jeet Kune Do under the direct tutelage and authority of the JKD Wednesday Group; Tackett, Bremmer and Sewell. The sport of No Holds Barred Fighting burst onto the scene just fifteen years ago and revolutionized the world of martial arts forever. Mixed Martial Arts is a combination of practically every sport combat martial art known to man.
